Why Are Projector Lamps So Expensive Is There A Cheaper Solution Projector Lamp Question?

Projector Lamp question? - why are projector lamps so expensive is there a cheaper solution

I have a projector Sharp XG P20EU. I have lots of life left in my lamp, but I know someday will die. So try to plan ahead, I am doing research for a new lamp. I need a 220 W UHP lamp. Now I know that the lamps are expensive, but all the lights that I can create more costs than I paid for the whole projector to be found. I can only a 220W UHP lamp from Sharp, or a light is produced more cheaply can I use?

  1. It is not just about power ... You must also ensure that the geometry of the same if the light is not focused or concealment is inadequate or do not fit with the lamp.

The XG-P20EU is a very bright projector, so I was not surprised, the light is slightly more expensive than the average. That is, I found that the prices are for the light from the projector lamp between 160 and $ 570 ... and has taken a while to find the best price, then think, perhaps, somewhere will sell a cheaper (the best price I found was $ 468 ... compared to a high of about $ 700).

If it were up to me and I paid the price of a projector lamp, which are originally sold for $ 9000, unless, particulalry related to, for reasons not immediately apparent in the specification would have tried to d ', lamp and buying a new projector. Finally, you can 1080p projector with a contrast ratio of more than $ 1800 today (and I saw a Benq 8700 replacement bulbs for $ 700 recently received).

Unfortunately, the lights are almost as prInter ... You can buy a new, less than the cost of a replacement cartridge.
